Hello everyone, I am a mechanical designer and I wanted to ask for your advice on an application in an automatic machine.
I find myself having to lift a coil ø1100 x 1000mm with spindle ø70/75.
the coil of about 500kg is carried manually in the lifting area, at the center between 2 lifts, then the shaft is threaded and at its ends the bearings are threaded.
after that the lifts are raised which intercept the bearing in the obtained seat. lifting speed has no precise constraints, it can also be very slow.
I don't think the solution is functional since
1) the inner ring of the bearing (because it has to be threaded and paraded from the shaft to be able to introduce it and extract it from the coil) does not have a tightened coupling with the shaft even if it should (since the shaft assemble + coil once lifted to working height, wheel through a higher roller with n coil = 3-5 rpm)
2) Given the inaccuracy of positioning of the coil the bearing seats are wider than the bearing itself for between the face of imprecision (e.g. b bearing = 25, l seat = 40)
3) the outer ring of the bearing is in contact with the seat only in the lower semicircumference since the lifters can not run sideways but only vertically
What do you think? Is there a better system to perform the operation described at first? allego schematic
Thank you in advance for your help
