Hello, everyone.
I'd like to ask you a question. I have a roller modeled in solidworks. I have to check the roller's inflection when it is subjected to a pressure load. the pressure is distributed linearly on a partial length of the roller. Now the problem is that I can't figure out how to generate a line on which to restart linear pressure. I tried in sw to create a curve with the project curve function but nothing the dm of wb does not matter the curve. if between the options of the dm specifies to import lines as well as the surfaces and solids the import freezes. the only way I found was to generate a division line, but in this way I generate a surface because sw wants a closed contour and not a line. In this way the outer surface of the roller is divided... And that's not exactly what I want. I tried to make a sketch in dm (linea) and to turn it into a edge but so wb generates two distinct bodies. I expect your help.
Thanks and soon...
