hello to all:smile:
I found myself a problem with adding excel links on the parameter board. Now I explain: I opened a new ipt file, sn went into the parameters tab, clicking on links I imported a excel file (so with xls format) and after selecting and confirming the file I exit a warning window with written "not implemented". creates the link in the browser bar but the references to the cells do not work. Can it be a problem of incompatibility? use win 7 pro 64bit with inventor pro 2010. regarding office I tried first openoffice and thinking it was not compatible I tried installing microsoft office 97 that works on 64bit. to qcno happened? I hope I was clear in the description of the problem.
thanks in advance

Hi.
davide
But before you worked well, or is it the first time you ever try to connect to an excel sheet?
I don't want to be wrong, but it seems to me that inv 2010 works with microsoft office 2007.....

hello tarkus thanks for the interest
then I happened to use different time ago the speech of links to excel a couple of times with qlke version of inv preceding. here on the pc of the company with qsta version inv and with qsto pc of last generation is the first time I try it. I don’t understand if it’s a problem that depends on me (boh maybe I forgot how to handle cells..) or a problem of pc or inv.
If you need to solve the puzzle, ask:)

cmq to be as clear as possible: I manage the cells so:

column to\riga 1= q1
column at\riga 2= 50

column b\riga 1= q2
column b\riga 2= 100

column c\riga 1= q3
column c\riga 2= 200

then when I go to get the file to link it (file placed in the same folder of the project) I start the colleg from cell a1 (as by default).

and from here the warning msg... :

I don't think it's a sheet writing problem, I repeat, I think I have read that he wants office 2007 (I can't do the opposite test because I only have 2007), but I'm not sure and I'd expect confirmation of who knows more.....

ok I see if I can make a try by installing the office 2007 in the company or at least try it at home if it works. waiting for other suggestions from the forum..
Meanwhile thank you tarkus for availability
once solved I will post the solution
Hello thank you :)
davide

You can't use openoffice for sure. compatibility with office 97, as tarkus says, I can't verify. test the inventor system requirements.

problem solved! we installed office 2007 and it works perfectly!
Thank you all! :finger:

Hey, guys, I have a problem like davide. I press that it is the first time I apply an excel folder to an ipt file.
I followed the procedure, square meters when I connect to the parameters only the link line to the excel file and not the variable entries.
I also tried to incorporate it... where can the error be?
I use inventor 2012 with excel 2010
Thank you.
