select cells and leave only the tsto <hw-threaddesc>.
to try saving the table as a new template.
to try also to change the callout, after having made a safe copy, that manages the caption holes</hw-threaddesc>

...the callout? What? . .
I tried to select the cells and leave only the <hw-threaddesc> But it only makes me if I do one by one...</hw-threaddesc>

callout is a text file that manages descriptions of the dascalia holes. the default is in the solid installation folder and then in the lang/italian subfolder

Yes, but... How do you know what to change? ... there are millions of voices...
... select the cells and leave only the tsto <hw-threaddesc>....
rather select cells but don't take them all together I have to do it line by line is very long... .</hw-threaddesc>

You need to identify the family that belongs to your hole and work on that area of the file.
I at the first approach deleted almost everything (leaving a backup copy) and by hand I added to the interested family some holes at a time until I found the rows of my hole and modified them.
On your heels you can find the list of available variables, put them all on the hole line and then the ones you don't need the napkins.
the positive thing is that solidworks reads it to every table creation, so you don't need to restart it at any change but you see them doing the new table.

find the list of available variables....[/QUOTE]ok but have you forgotten to attach the file in lime? ... or did I not understand? ...

ok I have seen the goables at the bottom of the file txt but I fear I have not understood anything I have to do,... :-(

if I don't remember badly in the forum we talked about these topics and there should be some indication about the meaning of the variables of the calloutformat.txt file.
in the guide still find something.

ok I have seen the goables at the bottom of the file txt but I fear I have not understood anything I have to do,... :-(
1 to locate the type of hole, then: standard (rings, din...), type (normal, threaded, with lamatura...), type (hole for screw, short pre-hole.... )
2 locate in the text file the lines of competence
3 delete the part of description that does not interest (in fact you just leave the written <hw-threaddesc> )</hw-threaddesc>

variables at the end of the txt explain to what each corresponds.
For example:
<hw-depth> corresponds to the hole depth
<hw-diam> to the drilling diameter
therefore
hole-blind=;</hw-diam></hw-depth><mod-diam></mod-diam> <hw-diam></hw-diam> <hole-depth></hole-depth> <hw-depth></hw-depth>;
is translated into:
blind hole:symbol diameter Hole size Deep symbol depth hole

So... these are the two files...
a hole table, practically all holes to are laminated in sez. a-a you can see the measurements... .
by default comes out "ø11 passer, ø17 etc..... "
The text file is very long, I didn't understand what to do. .
I started by hand to replace for the first 5 the written "see sez. a-a" but it is a very long job because by the way everything is planted is not sliding this operation. . .

look that you can group by type of holes then you just need to change one cell... .

ok, but if your idea of change consisted of writing a-a sez do not go to change the callout that is permanent and you repercussion on all future drilling tables.

but better than that I couldn't do, to change the callout I'll see how to do it because it's pretty complicated. . .
