Hello everyone,
I'm trying to renovate a group but I have a problem, maybe due to the fact that I use this command very little.
therefore.
I have a "a" set ( 4500 celebrations and about 600 parts), consisting of various subaxis.
I would like to bring together some of these sub-assistances in a single set, obviously always considered as a sub-assiem of a" .
I choose in the browser my assemblies to shorten, then ->component
-> lower level and go.
But after the usual message that tells me I could lose constraints etc.etc.
I get an error message that says:
"error in rse clone commander".
I tried to do a "lower level" with another much smaller set and it worked well here, but in this case I used not sub-assis but parts.
Does anyone know what it can depend on or (more easily) where am I wrong?

I have tried to replicate your problem on my set (438 ric, 127 parts, 8 subgroups of which 4 flexible).
the error occurs according to what they select but I have not yet managed to find the logic.
I did it on inv 11 sp4.
the sp1 of the rel.11 cited the resolution of the problem "error in rse clone commander" (sic...)

I have done other tests and eliminating only the main frame of my iam everything works (the series still there are all and in the deleted frame there are no mirrored elements but only mechanical machining )

What machine and s.o. do you use to manage 4000 occasions?

I'll make you a proposal.

I never use the lower level, when I want to restructure a total I prefer to make a copy of components, both inside the same and in a new file.
This second type of copy could do for you.

Have you tried to manually create a set inside a and then drag you into what you need? Maybe it works!

this regarding the pc.
as regards the method:
I tried with copying components but pulls out other problems, to say one, tells me that it can not create holes in a component etc....
so I renounced and refurbished cuff....:smile:
