hello to all, I have to develop a kinemtism with bound spindles you have satellites of epicloidal rotating or similar.
can I easily find on technical catalogs geared to straight teeth that can be done to the case, assuming to make design the outer crown (or are there dedicated catalogs?) the most suitable lubrication of this type of transmission?
Indicative speeds are 1000 rpm for satellites.
Can you make it with fat or is it better a oil bath lubrication? What kind of thing?

discriminating should be the peripheral velocity of the raid. for slow rotisms the fat is fine, otherwise to beat and if you have to go even faster to fog or forced with jets.
Look at a few books for the speed of each type of lubrication. If rotism is very fast or transmits a lot of power, oil forced lubrication is also used to remove the heat generated by friction.

If you decide for bumping lubrication, be careful not to submerge wheels and bearings, you will get the opposite result to the one hoped.
