manage the display order

hello to all
do you know if in autocad 2011 you can set a display order for layers and/or elements that always remain that? One thing like:
- layer: 1-contour 2-retini 3-quote etc.
the problem arises from the fact that, several times, I have to move an object or layer behind others, I would like to be able to set it once and for all, for example to say that the nets are behind and, whenever I create one, this respects the fixed rule
