management of loading errors

I tried to save axes in 3d-data.

Sometimes it happens that modeling refuses to charge axiemi because it can't load one of the components of the axieme, by the way with a very cryptic message:

impossible to find the file ". ( error 337).

What file of grace?

Talking to the ut ties, they tell me that it's a standard modeling behaviour, even under pdm: as long as a washer is missing, and it becomes impossible to load the assembly immediately upstream.

The question is, is there a more effective way of handling these errors, perhaps on the latest versions? in solid edge and solidworks the axieme comes on the same, with a popoup telling me which parts it was not possible to load and a white space or a question mark in the model tree.

something like that happened to me, for this I use the pkg but also because I don't have the model manager and the 3d date makes me trouble.
However I remember that the er president had posted two command lines you wrote in the modeling bar and repaired the problem and loaded it.

Don't worry:smile:, I usually work on the pdm for which he does everything, either save in 3d date or make the pkg backup.

It was more than a curiosity, it seems strange that the cad does not have a standard procedure to handle these situations.

on the model manager you could give us a little thought, the cost is not high (1250 +250 maintenance about, but I think it is possible to throw away some excellent discounts, among other things it can also use microsoft sql express as a database, which is free) and it seems to me a great aid to design, we say it puts a big piece to some structural limits of osd, like this thing of saving in 3d-date or pkg, or graphics.
