mass properties

Bye to all,
I write to you because I have this question:

having to calculate the mass properties of the model, baricentri, coordinates, volume etc..
Step by the analysis menu, mass properties and a drop-down menu appears to me.
in the upper folder related to the features in the first casellina at the top "regenerate" offers me 3 modes of regeneration:

always
read only
only design study

Would someone kindly know how to explain the difference between the various ways?

this function is reserved only to the mass analysis feature which then inserts into the model tree (serves to have a mass analysis inserted at a certain point of the model tree).
the three options serve to know if this analysis will always be regenerated (always), if it is read only (read only) or done once, it will no longer be regenerated or only for design study, which unfortunately I do not remember well the use.
in any case, only the "always" recalculates the mass properties if the assieme changes, in the other 2 cases, no.
