I am beginning to put my hands on mastercam x5 and my first doubt concerns these mastercam functions, if someone could explain to me what is meant for every one of these 3 voices, thank you in advance to those who will answer me.

are the work plans....if you only use 3 axle machines and programs only in three axes leave them as you find them........... ! ! ! !

see there are in the settings work plans.....now I don't remember well the name of the program as I almost never use it....work almost always in g17 and the plans g18 and g19 I use them only when I work in 3d to make the programs less long......cmq just tomorrow morning I open masteram I sign the menu!! !

hi I saw today, the work plans change down where you see the wcs writing click on and opens a drop down menu that shows you the plans....I recommend you work with collision control because it is a little more difficult than programming in g17.... and I am not even so hard on this type of work..... I am instructing! ! ! !

on those controls I started my experience......beautiful machines!!!! !very versatile for programming on board machine the 530 is 5 axes?? ?no I'm sorry I work on fanuc now and think I arrange with generic posts, the company for which I work is tacky and nn wants to spend money so I have a little to arrange....!!! !

hi! start tomorrow to work in a small company that makes sheet molds, have two heidenhain 420 in operation to 3 axes plus another machine used to install where should be the 530 always to 3 axes , I have worked in the last years with the selca 4045 3assi + 1 of positioning , heidenhain I used very little the 530 aboard machine , a postp for mastercam x5 I would use.
