hi to everyone, I wanted to ask you if you can create a part file with generic material and select the material you need when you place it in a set. Moreover, once you select the material depending on what I used, I would like you to automatically change the description in iproperty. Thank you in advance.

the assemblies as a whole can be composed of several parts of different material (I would correctly add. . . )
therefore in the physical properties of the axieme is logical that you will not find any material.

you can insert the default material part into the axieme, select it and assign it a "look" in the drop-down menu at the top left.

Hi.
hello thanks for the answer, maybe I explained badly, in practice I am creating rivets that we use in the galvanized or stainless version, I would like to make a file of part where I do not insert the material but I want that, when amounting the rivet in a set, can insert the material I want the rivet, to avoid creating more files of parts with the same rivet that only changes the material. Thank you

I think you can't do anything for the same reasons as you mentioned.

you can only, as already said, give it the galvanized look to the rivet every time you insert it into the axieme.
and perhaps in the separate components fortifies the description of the material.

or,as you already know, you must create 2 versions of the rivet, one normal stainless steel, the other galvanized.
I think it's more appropriate.

I hope I helped you.
