material update

in the office we have updated all the materials we use (about a hundred) with different parameters. Unfortunately the drawings do not automatically update (it turns out the material in the part is embedded and not a simple "link")

to start with modelcheck you need to check to have in your installation folder the modchk subfolder, then one thing like c:\programs\wildfire4\modchk.

if you do not have to run "ptcsetup.bat" again from the installation folder/cd, and between the functions to install, under "options" select modelcheck.

with interactive modelcheck it is possible to update the material, but there is condition that the material must be different.
I remember that he had set a material to (version1) to a part.
then disposes of that material though with a version2.
and wants to replace version1 material with version2.

In this case modelcheck can't replace with a... it doesn't make any sense.
If you call a version2 with some other name, an example of a2 will be working.

• set material_info and check file .mch
