mating problem

Good evening,
kindly someone can explain to me how to couple these two sheets so that the "positioning logon" is centered on the rectangular discharge on the other sheet (of course the discharge is some tenth larger in such a way as to allow the enclosure). Thank you.

From what I read according to me the "symmetric" command is the most suitable but I can not, obviously do not select the correct faces.

symmetrical and width are similar.
in the first you need an average plan (if you don't have it) in the second you need the faces (2 per part)

to center the tooth I would use the coupling "width" by selecting the faces of the tooth and the faces of the excavation that must accommodate it.
