hello to all, I have to make a design verification on a couple of a tinted joint on a gear shaft. project data are:
motor: power = 1000 kw, spins 1000/1'
reducer: 36/1' output turns
the torque to be transmitted, unless yields, is 26,000 dan/m
the output shaft of the gearbox is ø250 with 1:30 conecity for a length of 250mm
who designed the joint, assumed a sharpening of 15mm, which is equivalent to a interference of 0.5 on the diameter. My question is:
how do I verify the maximum torque to be transmitted on a mast/hole coupling with conicity?
I wait vs. suggestions.
Thank you all.

you could go see conical clutch joints;) maybe find some information to know how much torque you transmit

for enrico_v. before posting you read the rules and you show up.
Thank you.

mating for friction you mean? for interference?
