Hi.
I am a computer expert, always attracted by programming and in fact of that I have always been interested.
Now I want to change everything, I don't think it's the right way to go and explain it below:
Mechanical engineering: more work, higher pay (very likely) , versatility, passion .
computer engineering : passion
you immediately see that mechanics would be the best choice for various reasons.
more work : in computer science, especially in Italy, we are badly put, in mechanics the situation is definitely better and far.
versatility : a mechanical engineer I think can do a lot more things, energy, design, a computer engineer little more for what he studied according to me, even if I saw exceptions.
higher pay : in Italy very likely but I don't care now.
passion : design I like, I followed for a while a mechanical engineer who designs for a big company and I must say that I liked too much, even if it is as a child that I have the passion for mechanics, not only motors and cars but also realizations of structures etc
...
the report is this, as it is said in our field, a computer engineer hungers in Italy, unfortunately I have seen it really hunger, now that there are also well put ones I do not exclude it, but they are very few those who succeed, really an aesthetic minority ...
This is why I want to change and choose mechanical engineering, but here I have a number of doubts:
1) I don't know anything about physics
2) I don't know anything about chemistry
3) I don't know anything about drawing
4) I don't know anything about mechanics, I don't even know what it is about
I know that no one is born learned but for me that I do not know these subjects could be very difficult to attend mechanical engineering?
in September I have the admission test, after I have to choose ... I am studying physics and chemistry and I have to say that it is fantastic to understand those things, but I do not in time to finish all the program that is on the Alpha test .
I know that in mathematics they take for granted many things but I don't care math, the problem is physics and chemistry.
Unfortunately at the moment I know little and nothing about it, I do not want that with these courses they take for granted many things as to mathematics...
