Hello everyone

The subject has some relevance to others, but I have not found specific references to what I have to ask you.

I'm testing creo elements/pro (wildfire 5) to mean us (m100), in the company where I work we're still at wildfire 4.0. It's not the first time. I noticed that in 2d environment the passage between the menus on the top left.

layout tab annota sketch public rivets

presents a worrying pause when you switch from any menu to the one annotated (about 5 seconds). any other passage is instantaneous. I searched if there was any interface configuration option that would allow customization of these menus. I think they don't exist.

this "pause" I fear can trigger problems in the design phase real, when you frequently pass between the various functions. I already hear them the designers of my office who say "every version a worsening".

Can someone tell me if you noticed the same problem?

Thank you.

Hello everyone

I noticed that the problem arises only with drawings of quite substantial overalls, with new designs just created, it is all normal.

Thanks again

Hi.

Bye-bye.

the problem is quite unusual, I thought it was a graphic card problem but if you say so I would rule it a priori.

tried to save the wf4 axieme in wf5 and then open the drawing?
greetings

Hi.

I performed the following tests:

-Saved in wildfire 5, no improvement
-created new design with similar views, of course I did not make the whole design, quoted with distinct. everything works correctly I switch between the menu ok
added new sheet and moved views, passage to menu notes however slow
-adjusted sheet to the existing design with similar views, the passage to the "annota" menu is however slow
-cancellated original sheet and maintained new sheet, passage menu "annota" slow
-proved same function in cre0 1.0 m010 same problem.

I've done all the tests on the same team right now, I try to charge another one to verify everything.

I'm thinking about opening a call.

Thank you.

all fishing configurations on the net?
Did he try to set you up locally?
did you turn off black edges? ^
That's a prerogative. :-)

the config.pro file is local, it points to a drwsetup.dtl on the network.

I changed drwsetup locally but the problem remains.

I opened the drw of another random set, number of lower components, more viewed with sections in the drawing, more detailed distinct. the problem is much more evident than the previous case I mentioned.

Thank you.

Hi.
my client had a similar problem on the table just because the drw file was pointing on the net and he was hanging everything.
Are you sure you redirected the routes in the config.pro? Did you make a local change?

ps: Have you even tried on another workstation?

I installed I create 5.0 on another workstation, without copying any personal config.pro. so I used all installation defautl.
identical problem.

as first created new design, with some views of the same together, everything ok.

meanwhile I opened a call by sending files

here is the answer

Thanks for everything

Hi.

Hello, Mr. Santinato,

the problem encountered, there has been a development spur :https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/spr.jsp?n=2086056 the spr is resolved in the build m110 of creo elements/pro 5.0.
having performed the test on m100, I get a pass time of almost 50 seconds.
on m110, I get 6 seconds.
the m110 will be available in the 21-October-2011.

I have a nvidia picture fx 3500 with 256 mb memory

p.s.
I thought it was weird that I didn't get the bulletin for this issue, then I found out that I missed the subscription to those of the releases from 5.0 onwards.

Thanks again

Hi.
make sure you have this version of driver or superior: 84.80

I do not find myself with the version numbering, however the drivers were a year ago, now updated. from 8.17.12.7614

but the problem remains. I wait for m110.

I doubt that though it is a build problem, if even in creo does the same trick.

If you can send me the assist with drw, I can take a look.
