I am recently enrolled in this forum and also recently I am using catia v5 r17.
I was following discussions to solve the problem of migration of .catpart files to the lower versions, to me would serve from r17 to r15, only that I failed to understand this passage well.
practically there are those who talk about saving the file as .model only that does not save the whole story.
then there are those who say to go to tools => utility =>downwardcompatibility and from here set the directionrctory and the files to be converted in the previous version, only that here remains intregro the .catpart with its tree but remains shot.
there is someone who knows what is the correct procedure to leave the parameterization, surely on elements of simple or medium difficulty.
