Hello, everyone. I came across a bug last night, I think! I'll explain better. I was drawing a sheet profile created with the loft function and then I mirrored it (clearly I drew a quarter and mirrored I had half the piece...).
the problem comes now: by making the flat repetition gives me the lines of bend only on the drawn part and not on that mirror that however is exact regarding development and grooves. . . .
has it ever happened to you?

p.s. i ho sw 2011 sp4.

Thank you. I'm playing the file tonight.

http://help.solidworks.com/2011/ita.../sldworks/sheet_metal/hidd_sm_lofted_bend.htmimpossible to mirror. I suppose it's a limit of the :mixed function:

Yeah. .
in theory should not even allow sheet mirroring with option join solids active.

at that point it is worth doing the loft of the whole piece; If you don't want to redesign everything on the other side, mirror the sketch.

greetings

hi marco, in fact I always do so only that this time I mirrored. we say it was more a curiosity than anything else! but with 2012 how will it behave? Thank you.

Likewise.
rather, mirror the sketch.
I wouldn't take the guide as a colated gold, sometimes it's evasive and doesn't explain the end
of a statement.
For example, mirroring says that it is not possible to do it because, perhaps, that paragraph was written in 2003 and at that time the features were very different.
