Good morning to all,
I have a problem with importing mesh into ansys(14.5), but I fear that the fault is the pattern made in hypermesh(12).
first I chose the solutor, so I imported a .stp file in which there is a set, I found the average surfaces of some parts and I fixed the model.At that point I created the material with its characteristics, I created a property to define the thickness of the element (shell181), and I assigned both the characteristics to the components of the previous medium surfaces.at this point I did the mesh with automendio and the deck.
I read it to ansys, and I visualize the elements, but no element type and no thickness has been associated.
Where am I wrong?
