Hello.
I use rhino 4.0 and I have problems modeling objects "soft" like pillows or...in this case...a lot of jute (type that contains flour/grain/coffe.... )

I searched in various 3d model libraries, but I did not find downloadable models for free.

Therefore I ask if any of you have had the opportunity to see it around or know how you can model it with rhino or know where to find tutorials about it.

Thank you in advance.

Irene.

Bye-bye
approaches to modeling this "organic" form can
be faced differently in rhino:
1\ model in a canonical manner using generating curves
and the commands of loft, network, blend surf, to close
and collect in a particular way the closures or the flaws of the sack;
You may also use deformers properly
that rhino makes you available in particular defomation
with cage and flow along surf-
2\ model the skin using tspline plug-in
that allows you a freedom, certainly different,
addressing the model with more own tools
polygonal modeling (creation and mesh manipulation)
in this case simpler generation curves,
lines and polylines for the construction of the basic wireframe;
This last one, in my opinion, is the type of modelling that I recommend to you.
I don't think I've seen specific tutors around for this guy.
of modeling - it must also be said that what you ask
is undoubtedly a certain complexity and requires careful and thorough
knowledge/observation of the model to be realized and "a certain
familiar with the tool "-
I hope I have given you some suggestions for " the company "

I send you some short " steps " for modeling the juta sack through
tspline for rhino
1- Create a primitive cylinder (outpout mesh)
2-Add mesh edges matching
side edges
3- bottom closure with bridge along curves command
4-free mesh shape also displayed im modalita
smooth (soft)...
and so with patience and manipulation of (pt, edge or face) create the sack-

I hope to call you closer to the plug-in-tspline for rhino
That's great.
