[modeling] create custom properties

Unfortunately, I immediately stopped at the first grievance: how can I create a custom propie for my single part, such as "thermal treatment"? I can't find the way.

Once I do this, I'll see if there's a way to fill the fields automatically.

you can not in the property parts you can only fill out what you see, name part, color, material, weight, etc. what you say you think you can do with the separate bom module that is apart, for the pe I think does not exist for the license you pay.

but excuse how do you fill out the carts automatically and generate the distinct in osd? Do you have to add paid forms to the basic package for this basic functions? or is something missing from me?

boms are made, probably from it could export to a file.
However, it is necessary to check whether the feature (work?) can be inserted in the bom.

but that's only true for the properties that cocreate define useful, right? If I need a property out of those predefined, do I need the bom module?

I find the strange thing because even lower price falls have this integrated function.

Actually, I don't have to export the db. I need to fill the field of the property of the parts by copying--paste from an excel file.

I explain: if I have a "ownership management" function that opens in a window all the properties of the aid, and I can make copy-paste from the excel table to the solid-edge table, I don't care for the moment that the function is not "dynamic", I just need to be able to copy.

what you see in the property window is all there is: that you copy or write the only ones are number part or design, color, material, specific weight there are no other fields to be used.

Unfortunately in modeling, as in the old me 10, without any kind of library and utility of some dealer there are big deficiencies, in modelig especially regarding the management of the bom and the attributes part, materials etc....

inside you can customize everything except code and quantity.
I tried to comment on it to be able to apply changes in a simple way.
the separate lisp you need to create the properties of the parts/assies.
the browser allows you to view the properties entered in the tree structure, you must first import the distinct. these lisp should not be used with model managers because they could go in contrast with those already present.
This does not solve your hunter problem at all but could be useful to others.It should work also with the free version.

I managed to make the lisp "different" work and it's actually very useful! :smile:

instead I did not understand how to use the browser (have patience but I know very little osd).
