modeling for working cycle

Good day to all,
a supplier asked me for a processing cycle for the realization of our particular.
I thought of modeling the detail by creating a derived configuration for each processing so that when I edit the cycle (I'm considering whether to do it with composer or in word using print screens).

in your way of seeing it is correct to proceed in this way or do you have better solutions to recommend?

by force with configurations. But I would do everything in solidworks... no word
