I just saw some demos of powershape skills, but as said by +forte, the road to zw3d and td is still long. sincerely I do not even imagine how it is possible to throw on the cars with this app by autodesk

zw3d and td I don't know them, so I can't compare, I trust your judgments

@ale47p: Hybrid mode (i.e. solid-surface hybrid modeling) is the secret to manage with maximum ease, freedom and power any imported geometry. there are several videos on youtube, just search with "zw3d" and "hybrid". but from what I understand, thinkdesign cannot be considered a 100% hybrid for some limitations in the management of solids and combined surfaces, while zw3d is certainly because the proprietary kernel has been developed with this intent. zw3d takes over when other cads, reasoning in solids such as swx and I create, go into crisis in the direct modification of imported surfaces, to be fixed, cut or recure. a little as if I made the tailor ...

I know that zw3d and powershape are on the same level, they have continuity between two curves and g2 surfaces
while thinkdesign comes to g4,alias comes to g3 I don't know if it comes to g4

zw3d is a modeler with cam purpose, with thinkdesign you get the best surfaces as thought per il design. It is also nice to think that such an evolved product is a made in italy, after all.

powershape as a modeler is generally underestimated

native surfaces join without any discontinuity, they do and/or stick in tangence.
you have to do it properly. you need to know the software and apply the experience.

then there will certainly be software that have a magic button to do something that for me still requires a little effort, my is not sarcasm, I'm sure there are.
I am also convinced that one day my work will be done by artificial intelligence.

in more ps is as macrable as it must, both internally and from visual basic/studio, something indispensable for some sectors, but of great help in general for anyone who uses it assiduously

and in fact some designers with whom I work very often confirm that the best surfaces are obtained with thinkdesign. but this is a subject I do not care about, so I trust what the "workers" say
