Good morning to all,
I am new to the forum, so for
first thing a compliment to all of you for
availability and professionalism.

I would have a doubt, with catia it is possible
parameterize the geometry of an object
(very simple), in operation
of the moments of inertia that will have?
I have to design a piece that has the same
he prophesied mass of another, moments of inertia included,
So going to try you could cost me a waste of
excessive time... .

Thank you all.

I apologize for not presenting,
My name is emanuele and work as a designer
in aerospace, I am a mechanical expert and all
I've been fighting with catia for almost five years... !

returning to us, I know that you can bind formulas to parameters
but I don't see it feasible with inertia, I'm doing a little bit
of attempts.....you are at work.

depends on what you're looking for. if you have a cube or a cylinder is quite simple. If you have complex figures, okay is not the case.

Yes, unfortunately it is not a very simple figure....the worst thing is the strong indetermination of times to find the right moments of inertia when you make an estimate and/or a quote.

Thank you!

I didn't understand much. . .

However maybe if you explain the problem better, we find a workaround.. .
