Hello, everyone.
I ask for advice:
I am handling a motor inserted in a guide for an automatic gate.
for the moment I moved the gate in opening and closing and here almost everything well.
to facilitate my work I left the static engine since I just started using animations; practically you see the gate opening and closing but the wheels of the engine are firm. It's not realistic.
the next step is to be able to turn the wheels and then make it look more real.
I looked at several tutorials but all show a cyclic movement, repetitive; My difficulty lies in turning the wheels first in a way for a certain period of time (1 minute approximately) for opening and in the contrary way for closing (1 minute approximately).
my question is I have to insert as many key points as the wheels are in a single phase or does a command that automatically calculates this time alone?
another question: how do I connect the wheel movement with the guide? Do I have to treat 2 things separately?
I thought I was doing this, but it seems a little mechanical:
1)We want the speed of the gate to 8mt/min
2)wheel makes 43giri/min
3)I place the timeline at 2 minutes (1 for opening, 1 for closing)
4)I insert 43 key points (43giri/min of wheel) for opening and 43 other for closing? ?
5)I insert 2 key points for the gate (1 to 1 minute for opening and the other to 2 minute for closing).
Does anyone want to flip the brain with me?
