Hello everyone I am new to inventor, so far I used only autocad 2-3d.how do I move a geometry on the z axis??? ? ? ...I have to make a cone trunk, buckle in the sketch 2 concentric circles, one smaller and one larger, then to make the sweep I should move the smaller one on the axis z, but I can't.

I would do this: the easiest solution is to draw half the cone profile and revolutions. you can draw a cylinder and rake it or create a circle on any plane, then a parallel plane on the first floor and draw us over the second circle. then take the loft command and select the two geometries. nn know what version you have of inventor but in 2013 there is already the cone command. In short, there are many ways. My advice is, since you want to learn how to use inventor, forget how to work in 3d with autocad because it could only confuse you ideas.

About z axis, go to the inventor forum page, scroll up along the z axis until you find "new users present here".
make a small presentation (which I am, what I do, what software I use, which releases etc) would not fail before asking questions
for the rest do as bradipo666 says..

thank you bradibo I managed...with a plan and doing 2 look for below loft etc. etc....scusa tarkus if I didn't introduce myself I immediately, greet everyone and thank you again.
