solidworks 2012not being a specialist, if you do better obviously I delete this video and put the best one!

beautiful odds that fail...
and then you ask me why I insist on bidirectional quotas? one of the many reasons is also this.

very nice this kind of comparison. even one who does not understand anything can make a fairly precise idea of operation and differences

Wait, those odds, as in the video analog of if, I added them to the table, are not odds derived from the 3d. probably using the 3d quota recovery function things go in place, but as I had written above, swx is not the tool I know better.

as not mentioned, same problem also with the quotas imported from 3d.... :frown:

what you see is the shifting of a feature in synchronous mode, for the neat (traditional) mode there are no differences compared to what seen as a hunter.
in the video the positioning quota of the hole is illustrated, in the table, coming directly from the model, and fails the connection but it is enough "retake" from the model; also the repositioning of the origin of the quota must be "regenerated".
if the quota is placed directly (as I usually do) in the 2d, it correctly follows the modification of the model.

hello to everyone at good holidays.

Hello everyone, I've only seen the beautiful hunter's initiative now. I will contribute for what is possible in the various posts with nx 8.5.
in this monster two possibilities offered by nx: a change of the internal sketch to the command, the other creating another sketch and going to associate the hole.

azz is then come to tell me that pro/e - creo is slender and rigid,
in the first case we use 6 clicks
in the second case we use it - 5 click
with association always guaranteed in both cases, without controversy for anyone but the videos speak alone...
Good holidays:smile:

Thank you, very beautiful, you work as if or swx big way!

p.s. the quotas of the table remain associative as in solid edge or disconnect as in solidworks?

I only used if so I answer yes only for this cad (the nx holes were taken more or less of healthy plant by itself, up to version nx5 were all another thing).

depends, because if the id of the face or edge changes you have to reassociate them.

Actually, what I was interested in seeing, more than clicks, was like sketch constraints and table quotas react to the operation. the fact of the click more or less at the end I think it is not very important, in the face of advantages such as the robustness of the feature or the "intelligence" to go to repeat the disconnected constraints.

swx loses the reference of the quota in the table if this in the part is detached from one edge and hung to another. Otherwise it remains connected but to the edge of the first quotation. if it is a quote imported from the model you have to click again on import and put it back. If it was created on the design in my example they remain connected, in the hunting one not. I did not understand why...
However there is no doubt that when in the part the quota is not deleted but it moves only one of the references (but also both) that quota, which I imagine must have some unique id, should return to connect. we are borderline between chronic kiss and a severe gap
I put the maroni on the swx with an er linking this discussion to him:tongue:

p.s. nice eh can speak badly freely of some aspect of your cad?:wink:

that soft you used to record the video?

Surely you're right, I said that with swx I'm a beginner.
Don't swear to us... you know that I work almost paper-free, leaning the laptop directly next to the forge and taking the measurements from there, so with the table I don't have all this familiarity.

camstudio then converted the file to wmv. with freemake video converter. it also has the option to convert them directly to youtube but tells me that it does not find the connection. I must have messed up with the antivirus I ordered without thinking about blocking in "in sempiterna saecula" any request for access to the network by that little program
