move walls

with revit 2013
what is the most right way to move an element like a wall independently to everything else... I mean, at the moment if I move this wall, this shift takes with it a series of other elemnts that I would like them to be there where they are... at the end a road to do this operation I always find it but it is often very artificial... is there a revit methodology?

When I move a wall from the ground floor to the first floor, I also move what goes from the first floor to the second floor.. .
I often find it useful to do it, but several times I don't and I would like to handle this...

in 2013 this does not happen (I do not remember if in 2012 or prior the overlap of 2 walls created some kind of bond)

if you have 2 walls

the first from pt to p1 and the second from p1 to p2 perfectly overlapping does not create any dependence on constraints

Are you sure you didn't burn anything?

I did a dozen tests and in no case if I move the wall to plant pt moves me that to p1.

can you post a portion of your file where it gives you this problem?

I agree with architekno and add that even in previous versions it happened. It's not like you have walls ranging from ground floor to floor n?
