good evening, for a few months I have started using solidworks and lately I have found myself working on quite complex assemblies, in which I have inserted subaxis that have some couplings like limit angle or limit distance that allow me to see for example the run of an open closed piston or the movement of a door from 0 ° to 90°. while maintaining these flexible subaxis in the main axieme often these movements are either snaps or even are blocked even if they move freely under axiemi. I wanted to understand if the problem was due to the heaviness of the main aid (so how could I solve it to lighten it and see the movements) or for other reasons? I add that some components automatically are already set on light weight.

It is impossible to know without having the whole project to be analyzed.
you can do some verification by progressively suspending the subaxis that have no relevance to the movements you have to do and see if the behavior remains.
you also need to set your system options to streamline the mathematical reconstruction of the axieme. This point has been addressed several times in the forum and I have already written a possible set of options.

better, if possible, use the configurations to manage the movements or steps of the subaxes.
If, for example, it is not necessary to constantly verify the movement and the risk of collisions of a subaxieme instead of keeping it flexible (which is adorned and recalculated even when moving other parts) it is advisable to make two open/closed configurations.
the classic cylinder managed by configurations is much more performing than using it in flexible mode

Thank you!
the problem seems the cylinders that discharge in .step from the manufacturers. often the program also gives me some mating errors that sometimes pass rebuilding with ctrl+q other times closing and reopening the program but that I can never delete and it seems that the program slows, sometimes, just for these. I also tried to suspend the couplings, but they are fundamental if not the cylinders are no longer bound. I read on the forum some answers from years ago and some of them said were software bugs.I would like to know if someone solved because it is really unbearable to close the correct axieme and reopen it full of errors that block everything. I can't load the axieme because they're machines from the company I work in.

Of course I'm not saying to charge a set, which, among other things, if it's large in size would be prohibitive; I am saying that it is an analysis that cannot be traced back to one or two simplistic reasons.
the details made in step should not give problems are solid bodies without history so they should be even more manageable than those made with functions. If you think the error is there, remodel the cylinder, of which you have all the measurements, simplifying it and optimizing it.
rather, as you say that for a few months you have started using the software, there are errors or weaknesses in the couple and management of the files.
if closing and opening the apaionous axieme and disappearing mating errors and easy that there are redundant that mess up the system. and this is one of the most common errors of software novices.

Yes, there may be mistakes, but why don't you tell me sometimes and it seems like everything's okay? Why don't you rebuild?

the answer is always the same... without being able to analyze the project it is not possible to give an answer.
try to manage subaxis with configurations and let the use of flexible
