where to model a welded, better than I do it as a multi-port or as a set of parts?
pros and cons?

just think about what you're doing every single part and then assemble them with constraints and how much you're drawing everything with sketches tied to each other

Usually for welded you use multi body. I as a practice if the particular welded has only one product code proceed with the multi body, if instead the welded has more product codes and the processing is made to do externally perhaps by instructing the supplier to buy one of the details to weld it makes more sense to proceed with the assemblies.

Obviously a multibody to have maximum speed and flexibility of modeling.
then for the table you can still put the views of the individual bodies with insert \vista\relativa model... .
