hello to all

I haven't used them for a long time and are a bit in trouble

I created a simple object with catia v5 r19 and now that same object I would like to insert it automatically with "import" in patran 2005 r2a

Good. selection the object saved with catpart and it tells me impossible to import it as the version is not supported? ? ?

Is it possible or am I wrong? ?

Thank you very much

if I don't remember badly you have to export it from catia in iges and import so into patran

to carry out the direct passage from catia to patran there are particular licenses that must be purchased but I also believe that they are not so economical

Thank you very much

but you should explain to me what is iges, for you and your excuse
it will be trivial but I do not know

Thank you very much

I found it is only a format in saving the file

and when you go into the patran you need to select how to import the igs file.. Thank you.

Hello prog_pie,

if patran says unsupported version, it means you're using an old version of patran (not that you don't have the license).

if you do not want/you can update patran, you would recommend exporting the cat’s part in step format. iges is a disaster, cat step is paid.

Hi.

Thank you very much

Can you tell me... which version could I orientate? ? ?

Thank you very much

(if you find it)

that I ask myself:

but for a student... do there exist free licenses \ advantageous? ? ?
of the
It should be the only one... Of course the PCs are there... but eventually I like more studying at home... and not where there is a huge casciara.. .
in the end it is about a week that I try to make square ... 'use of fluent nastran patran and gambit and catia...

Thank you.
