nc machine simulation

Hello.
I am new to the forum, in caia v5 p3 r16 in the nc machine simulation section, after creating machine and processing, starting the simulation via tool path, it works but without the removal of the material from the rough.I would not want to miss in the creation of the piece I go to work because it created a cadpart with two body one the rough and the other the finished piece is just as a process? :smile::smile::smile:

The simulation of the machine doesn't need anything but it's just something that's good to see... slowing down the system, weighing it down and providing no additional information... .
However if you want to do it you should buy the postprocessor directly from catia.. .
if you go to tools options machining tab emissini see that in the first row is indicated the post porcessor to use (my is set on anyone as I want the output file with aptsource extension to be neutral)....
to have the simulation of the machine should appear there the postprocessor of the machine you use for simulation. ...
it is possible to simulate the removal of material if you use a machine used by catia as an example and one of the postprocessors in the above list. . .
I did it but I repeat it is a tool machine used by catia as an example (if spulci in the folders where caia is installed there is a folder where there are some examples of processing but there are also some machine tools)

ok I have created the machine with mechanisms and everything to get simulation via tool path with material removal as should I set the menu in options -->machining-->emission ??? what postprocessor should I set and what path pp??? the menu I mean is that in the photo
