nell'unire layer problem

Hello everyone!I have a problem with autocad.. for work I happen to clean architectural and bring them all on a few layers from me decided..the problem is that when I use unilay it does not always work (say 5 times out of 10) ie:
Once you have selected the layer or layers to join after sending, ask me again what layers to join and not the target layer. . sometimes trying several times I can select the target layer but it doesn't change anything and it's like I didn't do any command. .

Does anyone know why?

I have now apologized however, I normally come out and then tells me that the previous layer has been eliminated. .while in some design I don't even get out the confirmation of continuing.. regenerates and remains as before...
