new solid with offset

I am using inventor 2021 and I would like to create a new solid with offset in a .iam file where I should practically cover with a sheath all the assembled parts, is it possible?

Hello, it should make a derivative component as unique solid.
At that point you can scale it and empty it.

the scaling is proportional to the size.
If you want to cover with a x cm sheath, things get complicated.

is a sheet with many pressure inserts, but as I said there is no offset command in the iam file

you can make a derivative component using the first option "subsequent lav. style" the first option "solid body joints ....", interrupt the link, use the command "instinct/offset" by selecting the sup. interested in the offset, one by one, and choose the output "surfaces".
in the browser go to the "surface offset1", button dx "object copy", output selects "body" and creates new "composed" (original release).
deletes the derived component and the "surface offset1".
on the "composed1" again apply the "inspect/offset" command, with offset of the thickness and direction that interests you.
I didn't care much, but it works.

an offset on iam file would be useful.
