Good morning to all
I press that I am new to the forum,

I am a proe expert user, but lately I had to convert forcefully to the use of v5 catia for surface modeling.

I'll put my problem right away.
entering the freestyle module if I draw a sketch curve and then do an extrusion operation, the surface I get is completely "non-parametric", in the sense that if then in a second time I go to change the curve on the sketch the surface does not update me.
the surface in the model tree appears with the traditional symbol but with alongside the drawing of lightning... .

Can anyone explain to me about this?
Is something wrong with me in my procedure or is it a feature of this form?

I thank you infinitely in advance for your answers
Good day

hi stefano, is a feature of the module, if you want to work in parametric mode you have to use gsd.
fs is born for explicit modeling and has no memory of the geometry of origin once the next one is realized.
I believe it is used in the industrial design sector, it creates an approximate geometry, then through appropriate intersections with planes you get the base curves then work in gsd and in parametric mode.

greetings
