note on the hole

Hello, everyone.

sorry for the trivial question (for those who know pro/e of course:biggrin but I was looking for the way to insert into the table, a note on any hole (filettato and not) that reported the information regarding the characteristics of the hole itself (depth, diameter, thread, depth of the thread etc.) like the note related to the hole in inventor where it is enough to touch the circular edge to have the information required.

looking at the help online and other discussions here I couldn't figure out how to do it.
should you use the generic note?
I noticed that when you insert a generic note, the quotas on the views are switched in the display of automatic parameters type d12, d22 to give you rightly way to insert these parameters in the note and then to be able to use them also for expressions (anteponendo the symbol "&" in front of the parameter) but I think it has nothing to do with what I'm looking for, right?

one last thing: in model mode when I create a hole, next to the menu "positioning" and "form" there is also that called "note" and I remember that for the first hole I inserted was active and inserted the note relative to the hole. Then I turned it off (unfortunately I don't remember how) because I didn't care if you put the note in the model and now every time I create a hole is in gray that is disactive. do you know how to reactivate it and if it has something to do with the table?

Just go to the annotated menu and choose the show button annotations model.....the rest you understand easily.

Hello blubossa and thank you. I did as you say, but viewing the annotations of the model and touching the hole gives me only the portion of the diameter of the hole and just. As for the depth of the hole there is nothing.
Am I wrong?

and then it is not possible to customize the hole note? For example, if I want to display only the depth of the thread and not the depth of the hole, in other words I choose the information to display, can you do it?

I did some tests and I believe that the specific command "note relative to the hole" or anything like that does not exist. In fact I found that in the "hole" command the "notes" tab becomes active if you select the "standard hole" mode, i.e. threaded, while if you select "simple hole" , the "notes" option remains disabled.

Therefore if you select "standard hole" the system creates the hole note with all the information available in model mode that you can then recall in the table by using the "show annotation" option in one of the 2d views.

What I ask myself, is whether it is possible to create or recall it also for the simple hole because, in my opinion, it seems strange that in this way the note is not available.

as it seems strange to me that there is no known for the hole as a command in the menu "annota" of the table. but does not exist?

and for the standard hole note, should it be kept as it is or is there a possibility to change it? because I tried to change it, but it seems that it is not possible to make changes.

you can create a 3d note with hole odds and call it back with a macro.

for the standard hole, if you want different annotations you need to create a drilling table with which to apply the custom notes.

Of course, to be honest, it makes me a little bit like there is no such comfortable command and you have to get around the problem in this way, but if so.. patience.:frown

a curiosity: that you know, in creo elements 5.0 there is a command like this or is it in everything and for everything equal to wildfire 5.0 (also as a graphical interface)?
