Good afternoon,
I need advice for a laptop.
budget: 500-700 euro.
use: office, solidworks (no rendering but only creation of parts, assemblings with 100-200 parts and import on board).
I have already looked at a series of hypotheses I would like to understand which is the best quality/price (useless to spend more if it is enough less), or if none of the three is okay (keep in mind that at work I use a pc with a nvidia picture of a little years ago...a precision t1600.. .this to say that if the notebook were to have equal or better performance already would be fine):
1) i5-1135g7 - 512gbssd - 8/16gb ram ddr4 3200;
2) i5-1135g7 - 512gbssd - 8/16gb ram ddr4 3200 - nvidia mx450;
3) i7-1165g7 - 512gbssd - 8/16gb ram ddr4 3200;
4) i7-1165g7 - 512gbssd - 8/16gb ram ddr4 3200 - nvidia mx450;
5) no one, I have to spend more on....
thanks for the delucidations!

That's an extra topic. Did you look at the forum archive? Try looking a little under your post, I already found three similar discussions on the first screen.

budget is a little low, if you can't spend more you could consider amd's cpu ryzen, excellent performance at a price just below the intel.
I have a ryzen 3600, however on a fixed, with graphics card on pcie and 4k monitor, definitely satisfactory for the expense carried out.

topic retried several times.
reepilogando
- high speed cpu clock especially on one core....from 3.8ghz to climb...minimum a quad core cpu.
- recent vga better if certified or a gaming type series gtx 1660m, gtx 1060, rtx 2060
- ssd capacious 500gb better if nvme
- larger fhd screen resolutions with smaller characters lead to fatigue the view if you do not use an external monitor of 23"/27"
- if the notebook should be used for long sessions or on 24h /24h prefer a notebook with good cooling or professional or gaming.
personally the correct number for a notebook is around 1000-1300€ less than any discounts.
good choice

the cpu is aligned to what I have in my of the precision m6800 and is a little more new and therefore a little more efficient while the video card is instead a little more powerful than my firepro m6100...in solidworks has about 10 fps more peak.
altogether is a good notebook for professional use.

Can I get together too late?
I would like to take advantage of this new government stop to buy a serious laptop on which to design remotely with any-desk (then I exploit the workstation of the work ) and on which to install the private version of solid edge to unleash a little from home not for profit, but playful purposes. will also serve for dad of the 6-year-old daughter (dad at 6....) and to make the wife work from home too...
Would a precision 7510 with these characteristics be okay?
screen: 15.6? 1920×1080 anti-reflection processor: intel core i7-6820hq 2.70ghz in turbo boost 3.60ghz (8thread) ram: 16gb ddr4 2133mhz expandable to 32gb storage: ssd 1tb (1000gb) samsung 850 evo double graphics video card: picture nvidea m2000m (4gb of dedicated video card perfect for editing and gaming) intel hd 530 (integrated video card) computer type: workstation 1 thunderbolt 3.1 4 ports 3.0 1 mini display port 4k 1 ethernet smartcard jack stereo sd card webcam: hd integrated connectivity: wifi bluetooth 4.1 wwan (not integrated) power supply: 230w operating system: windows 10 pro to 64 bit office package installed: 2016 plus 365 (word, excel, power point, pubblisher, skype business, outlook, one note, access)
refurbished to 750 coffee
I had also found one of the m6800 on offer at 1050 refurbished but I do not know if it is better than this and then the wife would not want such a big screen.. .

Good morning, I know that the speech has been addressed several times, and that the questions on which workstations to buy often twist the nose to the most, but an opinion on the configuration above someone more experienced than me can provide me with it? Can it be a deal?
It's also true that for what I have to do, I could also focus on a gaming computer, but you never know what can happen in life. I wouldn't have imagined having to work from home yet here I am. I'd like to avoid spending that amount and then find myself with a pc that doesn't do what I need, that is to model in 3d for convenience and make smart working to the wife and dad to the daughter... .
I hope someone can give me at least one opinion.
thanks in advance

bottleneck working with anydesk...is anydesk...
I'd take the one with the biggest monitor, but I'm the...
I don't know if and especially what you do... if you have to draw a perforated plate or a submarine something will change. . .
Of course I would take the most recent most costly bigger one more powerful, in the perspective that it hardens me as much as possible!

p.s. now I don't know your wife what she needs about it, but for dad a pc "supermarket hut" would suffice... obvious that I would never consider it
;)

Thanks for the ale answer.
I'd have to work seriously too I'd take in soderation at least a 17" and as recent as possible, but I count to work for most of the time in the company (I'm an employee not a professional, at least not anymore) if I would use it for pleasure, maybe to start even with the 3d printing of small details, but I'd like to see how it behaves also with the realization of articles a little complex and with some together. I'd work as a long-lost boss so I can't and I don't want to invest too cheaply speaking because I don't die to live. I don't take a shaggy PC in soderation either. I've already experienced it and it's enough.
I invested in 2010 a lot of money for my situation then in an imac that I took refurbished for my passion, photography, and travels like a missile still now.
money spent on good things is always well spent. of this laptop, however, I would not make such an intense use to justify too high expenditure.
for that I asked if the above price and configuration were valid.
a tomorrow with the biggest child we will assess another type of investment. this year I have already given my bike:-)

good morning taurus and also to others who follow,
I'll see you.
configuration was the one above the work I was looking at, it was not a 6800 but a 7510.
I contacted the seller who answered me and told me that it was PC withdrawn from the bank, and he wrote to me: quote" we He's the one We re-condition cleaning internal fans and changing thermal paste" and that once you do this work your computer independently from years back as new from factory.
I asked if he had the DVD player and answered no but (I quote again) " He's the one I saw on amazon at 15 euros." ...
He left me a phone number and treated like a physical store, but can I trust someone who rebooks workstations that writes "them" instead of "them"? There is no argument that it is clear, I seriously ask for advice to you too. I add that on the direct website of the shop the same pc is to 100 euri in more...
What do you say? Looking for alternatives? for the sporadic use that I will do of the same with the cad me orientate on a gaming or a performance laptop not workstation new?
I wait as always your kind feedback

If I can advise you, I suggest you also use a base for the laptop with fans, to cool the pc. when the computer is overheated, you see a considerable lag during use.

Leaving aside language shortcomings if you have the opportunity to face the pc is always better to ensure that everything is ok. if with a thousand euros you find something new with a good gaming vga could be a valid solution.

taurus I would have found m6800 with 16 gb ram with i7 4910mq 2,9ghz 240gbssd and 1tb hdd with k3100m picture less than a thousand. Can I order it even if the 6800 is a little dated?
I'm confirming that a few years ago, and I can "play" a little with the cad and not just for the wife and daughter?
Give me an answer as soon as possible that I do is madness and bom...

If you need for cads still should keep banging.... always verify that the cad you want to use is still supported, for the games I already tell you let it go because there are video cards that you now eat the k3100. for home video, office, it's fine. If I had to tell you a price I would tell you 600€...my didn't want to sell it just because it's overrated and has three ssds from 512gb plus a mechanic from 1tb and 32gb of ram and docking station.

Thanks for the answer. then 929 eurozzi refurbished say that it is a high thread?
I'm a little demoralizing... I'm gonna have to resign and take a laptop any so wife and daughter I'm fine and I'm gonna have to arrange. . .

I think it's too much for a 2013 laptop.
