Mah... I am of the idea that instead of continuing to add new minkiates could also concentrate a little more to improve some of the already existing ones, than of useful there are several already, but that always work half every time now for years.

ram: 20gb
hard disk: 500gb free

but also for smaller projects the requirements are monstrous!!! maybe it was so also for previous versions though, you should change pcs every 2/3 years.

the stated requirements for the versions are here http://knowledge.autodesk.com/suppo...uirements-for-autodesk-inventor-products.htmlunless there is something really ambiguous with the 2016 version..... you can beautifully ignore, with a laptop from 700€ (equivalent to more' or less 300€ pc) I have no problem working on projects from 1500-2000 components with the 2014 version

I'd say things have changed a lot!

all to do the same things all the time, as the book says.
to call them "improvements", you should do the reverse path and instead ...
I am still using rel. 2014, 32gb on a 4 year hp8760w laptop, ssd disk.
35233 occasions and 1923 active documents, the limits I see in the video card (nvidia 3000m ), not in the rest of the hardware.
