Hello are new nx and teamcenter.
we normally work with creo but for a customer we have to import files on his datebe in teamcenter.

I took a few steps but I have a problem.

I can create the first "baseline" type "pippo.001.0001" but I don't know how to create the second baseline "pippo.001.0002"
i.e. if I create it from the first after I can't edit the contained file (it's only copy of the previous)

Can you help me?

Thank you.

Sergio

Sure. The baseline is r/o, so it wouldn't make sense to start with that, would it?
if you want to start from the baseline to do more you have to do a new revision from 01.001

Okay, I think I get it!

excuse but as said use nx and teamcenter only to load files from the customer and I did not run so....

I was afraid that if I modified the working I lost history but, if I understood correctly, this is guaranteed by the baseline 0001

Thank you.

the baseline is practically the equivalent of a "save as" on file system.
it is necessary to maintain a sort of "history". . .
different are the "versions" tc that are created to each rescue (a little like the ;1-2-3 of pro/e) that are instead regulated by the "keep limit" of teamcenter.
