As far as I know, you have two possibilities, or machine-related licenses, or floating licenses via servers, in the latter case it is connected to the server machine, and it doesn't have to be a machine you work with.
so, the only problem is not the operating system, but the hardware, (for example breaks the pc), the license migration does not entail a cost, but if in a month you ask to migrate the license 20 times, to someone could arise a few doubts.
