nvidia framework: missing optimization for solidworks

Hello.

on the old picture 380 xgl there was the specific configuration for solidworks, on the "new" picture fx 580 the list of configurable applications has decreased a lot, I find a "dassault systemes catia - compatible" but I do not know if it is the best option, of course of solidworks even the shadow...

Any suggestions? for now I left the default 3d app...

Thanks :)

Yes, I'm not complaining about problems that I actually don't have, fx580 is certified to the solidworks page and I have the driver suggested by them, only I asked what the best configuration was having disappeared the solidworks option (on 380xgl there was solidworks, solidedge, inventor, 3d studio and many more... )

I think I'm not the only one who uses the family of video cards that also belongs to the fx580, anyone with my doubts?

Hello, Lozio.

In fact I am also in your same condition (frame fx 1700) with driver certificate isv 175.
cmq, I am finding myself well set in the board management panel:

- application
- disabling the item "vertical synchronization"

Good day, swarzy.

The latest drivers (the ones certified are always a few releases behind), to find the card with the optimizations for solidworks you have to take off the check on "show only program found on this computer" and the list stretches very much (in practice it does not see the program with installed... mah...) and the changes work properly.

I take up the discussion to ask for an opinion.. .
I went to the solidworks website and in the section dedicated to video cards I set my parameters i.e. win7, solidworks 2010 and selected my fx 370 picture (it is poor but for the use I make it is also too eheh!). the site makes me download the certified driver for solidworks 2010, especially on 191.87. I installed it and made the reboots that told me the program... But now I can't set the nvidia panel to select the optimal configuration for my solidworks! I took off the check as blueeyes73 says but between the infinity of programs I couldn't find solidworks 2010, I found only this saying:

"dassault systemes solidworks"

while there are other software of autodesk, photoshop, proe, etc... Does anyone know what I can do? the parameter I found is the right one?

I forgot... with this video card according to you how should renderings come with photoworks? sincerely they seem faded even if I put the chromed material!

What's the matter with you? I would have thought of finding "solidworks 2010" for example! In fact I was looking for the s and the list is long so I browsed everything and casually found that! that was the dassault I didn't know.. .

Thank you cmq, now I finally have the right setting!

for renderings...I don't know, the speed of the video card should not fade or load colors.

Bye to all,

sincerely I have installed the 191.87 driver, but the choice is only and only "dassault systemes catia" :frown:....this is very curious, perhaps it will depend on the fact that I am still with xp 32bit
The fact remains that even with this setting works very well.

Hi, swarzy.
but did you do as explained before and reported below? :
the latest drivers (there are always some releases behind), per trovare la scheda con le ottimizzazioni per solidworks bisogna togliere la spunta su "show only program found on this computer" and the list stretches a lot and the changes work properly.
test and also find dassault systeme solidworksgreetings
Marco:smile:

Hi.

I finally added it by pointing the .exe file of swx.

However, thanks to the advice

Hello, swarzy

c'è il logo ds everywhere. .
huge as soon as you open it.
..on the package, in the dvd, during installation. .
the dealers are those.... .

greetings
Marco:smile:
I thought that symbol was some sort of stylized sw somehow:biggrin:
Well, I didn't buy it, they gave it to me to the unit that...

As far as I know the photoworks is all processor calculation, a card "unpack" like your (no offense) could give you any graphic crashes.
a question: do the assemblies on which work which size (no components) have ?

hello to all...I bring out this discussion.
I have a pc with 16 gb of ram and processor intel core i7 from 3.4 ghz.
in the file I bring the custom settings of my picture nvidia card 2000, the driver version and the file size on which I usually work.
I denote a certain slowness and resulting difficulty in working with such assemblies despite my pc is (according to me) very good from the hardware point of view.
I wanted to ask the most experienced if it is normal, and this slowness is due to large files or if there is something wrong with the settings.

thanks to those who will enlighten me.

there are a lot of factors that can cause a cad to collapse, not only the pc used, but also and especially the modeling technique. I also think you have 32-bit swx installed and if so you are definitely not exploiting your hardware for nothing.

I also read on the test of my board (quadro2000) that improve performance by removing antialias....made but not improve processing speed.
I verified and the solid installed is 64bit...
other tips?

thanks in advance
