Bye. I don't know if I understand your problem. but once imported igs join the faces. then see what remains of open (analysis geometry) and close the remaining areas.

you could try to give you a more consistent format to transformation into solids, such as the jt or the step... to start.
from iges may not be trivial to have a solid.

I solved by changing import parameters.
