Good morning to all
I have a problem with the nx cam, and I hope this is the right place to write. I have basic knowledge regarding the cam. we have installed in these days the 5-axis machine, and here we are to do the tests.
practically I need the fifth axis (b) to be 0 on the vertical axis and various between + and - (e.g. +10° and -10°),
while on the text file generated by nx I have 0 on the vertical axis and the movement varies between 10° and 350°;
in practice the machine that utlizes the file to go to 350° does all the round and obviously can not and therefore freezes.
how do you set the postprocessor?

Thank you.

Hello, luca.
to be of greater help I would need to know machine control and greater specifications: e.g. table-table, board head, which is the 5th axis. .
to connect to your request, when the post generates a positive movement is to give greater visibility to the operator of what is working.
This avoids working where the operator cannot control.
Why do you want to go negative?

many years ago, in the paleolithic (unigraphics v18, if I don't remember bad) :redface: , to set the limit of 4th and 5th axis, you had to edit a text file (.def), where among the various parameters, you could have bound the ends.
in modern times :biggrin: I do not know unfortunately.
