the problem of pdf3d is that it cannot have, for particularly complex contexts, the same reliability of the jt (or pvz of ptc).
in creo you can export both in pdf3d and in jt (or in pvz format for ptc viewer).
when the game gets tough there is no bit, the pdf3d compared to the jt or the pvz literally pity.
In addition, with the phonetes for viewers, you have all the parameters of part (material, designer, mass property, revisions ... etc.), things that with the pdf3d you forget them.
also the files are much lighter.
