hi, I wanted to ask why some bookcases, in sight of shaded plant, color, and others remain only wireframes (especially for furniture).

Is there a parameter?

Thank you very much

so he doesn't tell me much, I'd go to check out:
- materials, and their transparency-opacity
- the family if it has 2d replacements in plant or similar robes
- visibility categories
If these don't work, let me know we do other things.

I did some evidence, and it works for me.
I use 2011 and the materials behaved well.
I'll explain better, I'll go into the family and take note of the materials.
I go out, I open a project and load the family and return to materials to see that they are actually those.
those who made families have forced the materials without a parameter, so the family takes after all the info including the material.

If I don't understand yet, tell me.
I'm sorry for the oct

Thanks to them, but the problem is that some families, imported into the project, although they are in visualization "shaded with edges", remain in wireframe. in the attached file, on the left there is a table that works perfectly, while on the right there is, for example, the family of furniture ki-revit-solticeii-recliner, file recliner-ii-ki-soltice.rfa. but it also happens with many others. Boh.
thank you very much if you have answers

if you enter the "encrypted" family you will find that along with 3d elements have been designed 2d lines.
in a few words the 2d detail lives only in the plant, while the 3d is generated for all other views.
If you remove from the view of the family the lines and selections any solid, then go to the properties of visibility, find the ark, that is, it is disabled in plant.
I hope I've been clear, otherwise tell me.
