offset of a 3d sketch or...? ?

Hello everyone,
I feel like doing something.
I would like to create for the part in 3d attached a kind of "pannello" made to measure with an offset of about 30 mm regarding the superphilia of the part and that "abbracci" completely from behind: a little like plastic panels do on car seats.
I had thought of a 3d sketch offset that I used to generate pipe species but the command does not work because of the definite curve of space.
Does anyone have any alternatives?

I didn't know if what you call "pannello" is a three-sided offset surface (rear and side) of the rectangular tube section.

You can post an image that clarifies what you ask. Today I have the crystal bowl that does not keep me tune

mine was more spartan made directly with an extrusion, various cuts and emptying.

I would like to understand if in cases like these it is always best to extract the surfaces as you did, although generally things get complicated.

often happens that the inner surface can go while the outer one should be shaped with style surfaces and here sw has its limits unfortunately.
