Hello everyone, I am new to the forum (and autocad in general)
I use autocad 2011 for mac and I am having a problem with the software that keeps me stuck for several hours.
I'm working on a dwg planimetry provided by the professor, but I can't in any way offset the existing lines.
At first I thought it was due to the fact that the dwg was in 3d, then (trying on the internet) I downloaded the flatten_all lisp which apparently brought all the lines on a single floor (and in fact going to set the front view all the lines are clear). but that did not solve my problem, the offset command continues to not work.
How can I solve this?
thanks to all

check that they are not 3d polylinee.
Since autocad mac has a lot of problems, if you haven't done it yet, install the service pack.

thanks for the speed in the answer.
Perhaps you will understand that I am precisely at the very first weapons, as I see if I am polyline 3d? and if they were not enough the flatten I did to make them 2d?

Thank you for the advice, I'm going straight to the update.

selections and see in the property window which type of object are.
if they are polylinee 3d, even with vertices at the same altitude, you can not perform offsets.

hello excuse if I disturb you I have your same problem listed previously i.e. I have a planimetry delivered by a professor and I need to bring everything to level z=0 could you explain how you did?? Thank you in advance!

Good day

Unfortunately it doesn't work! However it is not yet comparable to that of windows but since 2011 they have made remarkable improvements!
