Hello everyone
I am a designer ... with a small twenty-year experience in the technical design with autocad...but neophyte in programming and/or customizations. ..varie.
I have to draw a large amount of reinforced concrete carpenters and it would be useful to have an offset command that allows me from the native line/polyline (continuous) to do the offset by generating a line/polyline (tracked/hidden), maintaining all other features of the offset command.
I tried to search on the net the lisp list of the offset command, in a remote attempt to modify it... but nothing.
I hope you want to help me and thank you all

hello crystal
Thanks I'll try the lisp.

Thanks I'll try the lisp.

hello crystal
Thanks again ... a fantastic lisp ... will save me some time (....parecchio...tempo). . .
Thanks again

I see that you have already solved but you could have used the option of the offset command that generates the new graphics entity on the active layer and not on that of the already present element.
in practice it would have been enough to create a layer with the colors and the dotted line you wanted and then use offset with the current layer option.

Hello xanadu65.

Do you need that program to draw the needles inside sections with the coriferous offset? .
That's because I developed a program like that that that undivided the section for points. it works, but you could improve.
in case you let us know, so let's exploit the "mages" that are in here.

Hi.

hi betoniera.. in fact that command I need to differentiate flat beams from high....offset2 was an old command that I used in a vertical application of autocad 10 ...si version 10 that turned under dos, and it was of a scary comfort. ..what the friend indicated me has the same features but...of course more evolved. . .
I need this for my personalization of autocad... with commands that use and tendon bookcases with drop-down menus.
Hi.
