Hi.
My problem is as follows:
I have a rather complex structure in which to simulate contacts I used "linear gap", launching the joint analysis that oload and spcforces resultant differ of about 2%.
I tried to replace all suport cards with rbe2 (i.e., if the contact happens at all points) and oload and spcforces are exactly the same.
I also tried to isolate the areas where there are suports and add away other pieces of structure, obtaining that when the structure increases the difference between oload and spcforces increases.
I noticed that this difference is equal to mpcforces resultant.
Has anyone found such a problem yet?
What do I need to investigate to try to solve this problem?
a difference between oload and spcforces of 2% can be considered acceptable?
Moreover, in the f06, between the forces of single-point constraint, for some spoints (introduced to simulate contacts), they appear components in more than one dof.
thanks for the help
