op boolean subtraction

Good evening to all, I have a problem with a set. What I want to do is to bear a positive of a component I have. to do this I went into assembly environment, I imported the starting component and then created a part inside the axieme. now I have created a solid volume that fills a blank space left by my original component. This solid volume, however, has areas where it is intersected with the original one. I then went to boolean operations between components and chose cut by selecting the two bodies. the feature always fails, even trying various types of Boolean operation. What's wrong?

I can't tell you exactly where the mistake is. But instead of me that in the environment together I would work in part environment and do my Boolean operations with the surfaces
